On my work laptop I have admin privilege, so I can install/uninstall software as needed, but I simply cannot get this to work.Quite often this occurs because either a repo has multiple remotes, or a repo has a remote that you've not got permissions to anymore is still bookmarked (even if the tab isn't open in SourceTree).įor example I had 3 repos from a previous contract that I no longer had access too, whilst I didn't have the repos open in tabs within SourceTree, the repo was bookmarked so SourceTree kept trying to authenticate it removing the bookmarks and then restarting SourceTree fixed the problem. Hi jackjansen During windows update installation sometimes following cache files get corrupted and cause this issue: Assemblies.cache, Composition.cache These files are present at following location: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree.exe\ Deleting above 2 files can resolve the issue.On my home desktop PC (I work a hybrid schedule), I have Sourcetree and was able to do all of the cloning I needed without any issues.
